Operating guide
HomeSec Appraisal Platform help
Credit team
- Create an appraisal and select Australia or New Zealand.
- Add known property details, supporting URLs and private documents.
- Start the preliminary research. Confirm the address match, the AI-assisted range and at least three cited source domains.
- If the address is flagged, correct the draft and regenerate the research. The platform will not send an empty or stale range to Jason.
- Review the submission summary, then explicitly submit it to Jason.
Jason
- Open an item in the New queue and select Start appraisal.
- Review the preliminary range, cited public sources, comparables and limitations.
- Record agent contact outcomes and add typed or private dictated notes.
- Enter your own appraised value and select Approved, Reduced or Declined.
- Review the final confirmation and submit the completed appraisal.
Public property research
- The research job searches only the approved AU or NZ public-source domains and retains cited observations.
- Open every cited source and review whether it refers to the subject property, a nearby sale, a portal guide or suburb-level context.
- Use the manual launchpad to supplement the automated results. Record staff observations under Guide intelligence.
- Independently verify any relevant completed sale, then use Add manual comparable and preserve the source label, URL, sale date and evidence reason.
- Portal estimates, advertisements and suburb medians remain guide material and are never represented as verified completed sales.
Important limitation
The platform is a research aid, not a formal valuation. Public-web confidence is capped at Low. AI never contacts agents, verifies the physical condition of a property, or makes a lending decision. Jason remains the human decision-maker.
